Valentín Figueroa

Valentin's research examines the processes behind the great political developments of early modern history. In his dissertation, he studies how the Protestant Reformation unleashed a number of processes that in the long-term generated the ideal administrative conditions for rulers to replace proprietary officeholders with professional and salaried bureaucrats.
