Mary Dent

Mary Dent is CEO of Green Dot Bank, an innovative mobile-first bank that is reinventing banking for the masses.  Previously, Mary was a Director at both Green Dot Bank and its parent company, Green Dot Corp.  Mary has spent her professional career serving as an executive at companies spanning the range from startup to global companies, including as General Counsel at Insikt, Inc., a fintech startup creating “lending as a service”; as the founder of dcIQ, a consulting firm focused on the intersection of technology, innovation, and public policy; as General Counsel and Vice President of Public Policy for Silicon Valley Bank, which provides banking and other financial services to high growth companies across the United States and around the world; and as General Counsel and Special Counsel for New Skies Satellites, a Netherlands based operator of a global communications satellite system. Mary spent her early career in Washington D.C., where she worked both on the staff of Senator Kennedy and in private legal practice.
