Book Launch: Greening the Black Urban Regime: The Culture and Commerce of Sustainability in Detroit

The Center for Global Ethnography and Urban Studies invite you to a virtual book launch for Dr. Alesia Montgomery's new ethnography, Greening the Black Urban Regime: The Culture and Commerce of Sustainability in Detroit, published by Wayne State University Press in 2020. In the first portion of the program, Montgomery will discuss her ethnographic engagements in Detroit. Michelle Wilde Anderson, J.D. will then offer comments on the book before opening the floor to audience questions in the second part of the program.
