The following are some of the visualization options IRiSS recommends:

  • Tableau a data visualization and business intelligence software that is used in several corners of the University

  • Tableau Server Tableau visualization can be published to a Tableau Server run through ITS and the Dean of H&S IT dept. Check University IT for training opportunities. 

  • Palladio This is a toolset for easy upload and careful investigation of data built at Stanford.
  • ggplot2 (R Package) ggplot2 is an open-source and powerful R package that utilizes the "Grammar of Graphics" to create highly customizable and reproducible data visualizations.

  • pandas (Python library) Pandas is an open-source data analysis library that includes data visualization functions. Also see: matplotlib and seaborn
