Tamkinat's doctoral research investigates the causal relationship between subjective well-being and income using causal inference methods for observational data, social science genomics, and survey experiments. Her broader research agenda includes understanding the relationship between the social, economic, and political determinants of individual and collective well-being using quantitative research methods.
