Kylie Szymanski is a predoctoral fellow at Stanford University. She specializes in integrating neuroimaging techniques with cognitive science methods to investigate brain-behavior relationships. Her current research with Dr. Cameron Ellis uses functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to research the neurological mechanisms that support cognitive processes in awake behaving infants. Before joining Stanford, Kylie conducted research with Dr. Tricia King on the neuropsychological abilities of pediatric brain tumor survivors and adolescents born with congenital heart disease to optimize clinical and neurodevelopmental outcomes.
