Emil Almgren is a Predoctoral Fellow in Stanford's Department of Political Science, assisting Prof. Vicky Fouka. He is a native of Cambridge, United Kingdom. In June 2024, he received his Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics at the University of California San Diego. His research interests are centered on development economics and political economy, with a specific focus on Africa.
