Dana Blanton is the senior vice president of public opinion research for Fox News, where she is responsible for producing polling for Fox News Channel and Fox News Business and managing all aspects of reporting on opinion research. Blanton and her team generate a significant amount of original news content for the channel's television programming, website, and radio broadcasts.

Under her leadership, the Fox News Poll and its bipartisan team have developed a reputation for high-quality, reliable, non-partisan research.

In addition, she heads the channel’s Fox News Voter Analysis election night team. Blanton played an important role in developing the FNVA election survey, an innovative alternative to traditional exit polls that is conducted in partnership with the Associated Press. This initiative reflects her commitment to enhancing the accuracy of election forecasting and pushing for methodologies to address the challenges of conducting surveys in a polarized political environment.

A Colorado native, she holds an undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and earned an MBA in Public Policy from George Washington University. Blanton joined FNC in September 1996, just weeks before the channel launched.
