Chandrasekhar’s project will use network theory to identity key community members who can spread the word about local microfinance institutions, eliciting more applications and higher quality applications. Using networks theory will mean recruiting more creditworthy entrepreneurs without asking the microfinance group to gather any additional data, ensuring that the best candidates in a given area are found and supported.
