Racial Mobility: The Dynamics of Race and Inequality in the United States
2015 Faculty Fellowship

Saperstein’s research takes a new perspective on the relationship between race and inequality that acknowledges racial fluidity—the idea that race is a social construct that can change over time. She will explore its consequences for the persistence of inequality in the United States, and its implications for research practice and policy.
