Movements of Change: Dance, Liberation, and the Power of Aesthetics

In this pre-recorded video, Aliyah Dunn-Salahuddin (Stanford) will speak with Colette Eloi (UC Riverside/EL WAH Movement Dance Theater) and Joanna Haigood (Zaccho Dance Theater) about dance as a form of protest, the 1966 Hunters Point Bayview Uprising, and the work of aesthetics in movements for Black lives in the Bay Area and beyond.
