AERA Satellite Conference on Educational Data Science

This conference will convene researchers who are applying data science approaches to problems of educational concern. It will be held in collaboration with the American Education Research Association (AERA) immediately after the AERA Annual Meeting in SF.

Now accepting  poster and  paper submissions! 

The conference will showcase many posters and a few papers.

Accepted papers may receive travel funding to present. Moreover, there will be a best paper prize, offering a $2000 cash award to the winning paper. Deadline for submissions is December 16, 2019.

 
Paper guidelines: We ask you follow the same format as AERA Open papers (8000 Words) and submit as MS-Word or Pdf. See here for formatting guideline
Accepted papers will be asked to present at the conference and potentially receive travel funds. In addition, a best paper award will be given to one paper.
 
Poster guideline: We will review abstracts (2000 characters). Accepted posters will be asked to present 1 minute lightening talks (1 ppt slide) and to display a standard sized poster.
 
Conference submissions are encouraged to also submit to an AERA Open call for papers concerning Educational Data Science. Papers posted on pre-publication archives are eligible for consideration at the conference and AERA Open.
