Stanford affiliated faculty, staff, and PhD students can now apply for access to Eurostat microdata, thanks to work between IRiSS, the Dean of Research, and Stanford University Libraries. Microdata refers to records about individuals or businesses that are considered confidential and must be handled through different mechanisms than publicly available administrative data. To find out more about the types of microdata available through Eurostat, see the overview on the Eurostat webpage.
Information on how to apply can be found through a link located at the bottom of the Eurostat webpage.
Contact Vijoy Abraham at IRiSS for Stanford-specific information which needs to be included on the application form.
